By your steadfastness and patient endurance you shall win the
true life of your souls. Luke 21:19

Was my silence deafening? Were you wondering what was
up with my silence? Am I driving you bananas with all my questions??? GOOD! Because this week's blog is about patience.
If we were all in a support group for those who have a lack of patience, I would be the first to stand up and say, "Hi, my name is Liz and I would have patience if it wouldn't take so long!"
For me, patience can be elusive at times. I'm not a person who likes to wait, but not for the reasons you may think. My mind is a very logical and analytical one, for me when something needs doing, you
In my cut-and-dried, straight to the point, this is the way things SHOULD be world, I struggle with the fact that situations and people need to be met with PATIENCE. As a teenager, my patience span was that of a nat. As I've grown and matured, however, my patience, with regard to some situations, has expanded. The credit goes to God for that.
As the Bible says in 1 Samuel 12:24, Be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you. God wants us all to have a strong spirit with us, a spirit submissive to His control. As I do everyday, I pray for Him to discipline both my mind and my body, when I DON'T PRAY, WHOA! Does it affect the way I relate in His world! To have an undisciplined spirit, mean we won't be able to serve Him in the way He commands. As I daily pray for my spirit to submit to His Will for my life, I encourage all of you to do the same. Blessings, Liz Ciccone
