Fathers do not embitter your children, or they will
become discouraged. Colossians 3:21
Life Question: What are the memories you have of your father? Have you proclaimed God as Father in your life?
Father's Day is a time of joy for many. However, for those who have lost fathers,
had terrible fathers or never knew their fathers, Father's Day is difficult.
That said, we must never lose sight of the fact we have a loving, compassionate,
gentle Father who loves us unconditionally. No matter where we are in our lives,
He's there with us every step of the way.
He leads us along the straight path, calls us by name and tells us we are His,
He instructs and teaches us with his Word. God is such an amazing Dad! He
knows when we awake and when we slumber, when we feel pain He feels it
with us and comforts us, telling us to give our pain to Him. God is there with
us in the good moments, when we are in fellowship with other believers.
God is there with us in situations when we need discernment the most, when
we need to be reigned in because we have fallen out of His Will. God is there
to help us make the right decisions for our lives, when we have lost perspective
God's there to bring us clarity.
God wants
best. The world's best is limited, God's best is limitless! There is nothing that God
can't do for us. All He want from us, is for us to follow Him, know Him, believe in Him and
LOVE HIM!! And to acknowledge Him as Father!
To all the father's out there.....and to our Heavenly Father especially.....HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! To all the sons and daughters out there.....HUG YOUR FATHERS!
Blessings,
Liz Ciccone
